Salaam,Your friend is right that there is no reputed private construction company working in Pakistan on which you can fully depend. Generally work is being done by private thekedar or construction companies and majority of them (more than 90%) is cheater.I am also in process of construction of a home in Bahria Town Lahore for one of my friend who is living in the UK. Its a chance or good luck that my thekedar Mr. Allah Bakhsh (03218027615) is an honest, responsible and committed person. He has experience of constructing homes in Bahria Town Lahore and provides his services in BT Lahore only.Practically speaking that your presence is very important on (at least) two stages of construction.
- When the process of map, designing and layout is started and finalized.
- When finishing work is started. Only you can visualize how your home should look like. You can not depend upon Thekadar's vision.
