The process of buying, transferring and registering plot in Bahira Town Lahore

Could you help me by giving information that what is the procedure of buying, transferring and registering 10 Marla plot in Bahria Town Lahore?

Can I leave plot without construction for 1 or 2 years. I want to buy a plot in sector A or B. Please guide and obliged.

Bahria Town Lahore Sector A and B are fully sold, mature and almost fully populated projects. You need to find a seller of plot in these sectors to buy a plot. The best way would be to contact any authorized properly dealer of Bahria Town. They will inform you about the availability of plots and its price. When satisfied with the price and location, you may finalize the deal by paying some token money mutually agreed by you and the seller and the contract will be signed.

The property dealer will, then, get an appointment from Bahria Town Lahore office for transfer of plot in your name. It may take few days as some documentation is required to complete before transfer is finalized.
On confirmed date and time both the seller and buyer meet in Bahria Town Lahore transfer office. As every thing is already clear and prepared so only an hour or so is required to complete the transfer process. Other than paying the amount to seller, you also need to pay transfer fees to Bahria Town Lahore. It is different for different Sectors and keep on changing (rather increasing) every now and then.

You will be provided an allotment letter of this plot by Bahria Town Lahore management. You pay the remaining balance in form of pay order, demand draft or cash (mutually agreed by both seller and buyer). Property dealers commission is 1% of total price of plot.

Now you are officially and practically an owner of this plot.

In Bahria Town Lahore and DHA, the registry of plot is not required. In case you still want to go for this process then it may take some amount, time and many visits to concerned Govt. offices. When you would need to sell your plot, it will be close to impossible to sell it.

Both of Sector A and B are old projects so plot owners are bound to start construction soon after owning the plot or to pay monthly charges. The amount of these charges depend upon the size of plot and duration when first owner got possession from Bahria Town Lahore.
